We can set you up a room you can enter with a password to be owner in that room. The advantages of using the services though are numerous. For example if your ip changes and you ask an op to owner you in a room we wouldn't be able to do that because we wouldn't know if you were the owner (if your nick wasn't registered). If someone registers your nickname before you do you will have to pick another. Nickserv insures your nick is never used against you and only you can use it. Someone trying to use your nick can't even talk and their nick will be changed to guest. Memoserv we reserve for registered users only to send messages to offline registered members when they log on, very convenient say to leave one of your room hosts a message about a chatter or some room condition you want enforced. Chanserv allows you to tweak your room anyway you want it. In addition to those we offer specialized room services custom built to your specs. We now offer ssl (for mirc or newer chat programs only, comic chat is just too old to use it) on port 994 so you can chat securely. We have logon rules you can download and change to your passwords, just make sure you have a checkmark in them before you logon. Mirc you can just put in your perform and we can show you how to do that too.
